We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, prepare accounting proposals, evaluate Accounting Alliance applications, verify professional credentials, operate the professional directory, and improve our website and services. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
3. Information Shared with Professionals and Firms
Where a client engagement requires coordination with a VARISUM Authorized accountant or firm, relevant business information is shared with that professional or firm strictly for the purpose of delivering the engaged services.
4. Directory and Verification Information
Information submitted as part of an Accounting Alliance application — including name, firm, city, country, languages, credentials, and capabilities — may be published in the public professional directory and verification pages once authorization is granted. Applicants may request removal of a published profile at any time.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain accurate records, and comply with legal obligations. Authorization and verification records are retained for the duration of Alliance participation and a reasonable period afterward.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
